This Sunday we’re tapping FOUR brand new Mosaic-loaded IPAs, all part of the This Place Sucks family. We brewed them in honor of our friends at 8bit Arcade Bar’s anniversary, and now we’re sharing the love with everyone. Whether you’re a total hophead or just curious, there’s a strength and style here for you.

This Place Sucks All Day (4.6%): A crisp, clean session IPA loaded with Mosaic Lupocore hops. Bright citrus up front, then dank resin, pine, and plenty of hoppy goodness. Built for the long hang.

This Place Sucks Less (6%): West Coast IPA dry hopped with Mosaic Lupomax for punchy citrus and dank tropical fruit.

This Place Sucks (7.9%): Our West Coast double IPA brewed in collab with 8bit. A citrusy slap of grapefruit and a piney attitude. Proof that even if this place sucks, your beer doesn’t have to.

This Place Seriously Sucks (12%): Mosaic cranked up to eleven. Loaded with Mosaic hop hash and pellets for explosive dank citrus, ripe tropical fruit, resinous pine, and a touch of sticky sweetness. Sip slow, friends.

We’ve been working with the Pekin Firefighters and their charity, Heart of the Dragon, on a new beer release for months now. Then a couple weeks ago, we found out one of their own is going through the toughest fight there is: a Pekin firefighter’s 2 year old daughter, Rosey, was recently diagnosed with cancer.

The timing felt like this beer release needed to mean something more, so we’re turning the release into a fundraiser for her family.

Join us Saturday, October 3rd from 12pm to 8pm at Bust’d Brewing for Rally for Rosey. We are re-releasing Dia del Dragon, but this time it has been aging in a bourbon barrel making it even more delicious! Proceeds raised that day will be going directly to support Rosey and her family.

Pints with a Purpose is back, and this time we’re going to the dogs.

Join us for a patio pawty benefiting the Pet Pack Rescue Initiative, a local organization dedicated to supporting dog fosters and saving lives across our community. PPRI was born in 2022 as a resource group for dog fosters from various local rescues and animal controls, and has grown into something really special.

Their motto says it all: support fosters and save lives. And we think that’s worth raising a glass to.

Here’s the deal: grab your pup, throw them in their best Halloween costume, and meet us on the patio. We’ll be raising a glass (and some serious funds) for the dogs who are still waiting for their forever homes. Every pint poured that day goes toward supporting PPRI’s mission and the incredible network of fosters and advocates who make it possible.

Speaking of forever homes, PPRI will have adoptable dogs on site looking for exactly that. Come ready to meet some seriously good boys and girls who deserve all the love.

This is one of those events where you get to do something genuinely good while also having a really great Friday night. Bring your dog. Bring your friends. Bring your friends’ dogs. The patio will be full of wagging tails, cold beer, and good people doing good things for the animals who need us most.

It’s the night before Halloween and we’re doing the most (as usual).

Half the night is spooky season staples, the ones that show up in every October playlist ever made and still slap every single time. The other half is straight out of the movies: soundtrack hits, needle drops, and that one song you can’t hear without picturing a specific scene.

Costumes? Absolutely encouraged. Are we judging? No. Are we taking pictures? Obviously.

Pints with a Purpose: Good Beer for Clean Water

Some nights you come in for a beer. This one, you come in for a beer and a whole lot more.

We’re teaming up with Hands Helping Haiti for a night of Good Beer for Clean Water. Their Water Project installs biosand filters in homes, schools, and orphanages across Southeast Haiti, giving families safe drinking water that doesn’t come with a side of waterborne illness. One filter costs $60. One filter delivers over 100,000 gallons of clean water in its lifetime. They’ve installed more than 5,000 since 2009, and every dollar of that filter cost goes straight to Haitian workers and teachers doing the work on the ground.

So here’s the deal. Grab a pint, grab a seat, bring a friend who’s been meaning to stop by. Your beer money turns into clean water for a family that needs it.

Warning: there will be belting. There may be harmonizing. Someone is definitely going to get emotional about a song from a cartoon and we fully support that.
